Play game mode

Single player campaign. This is an optional but useful game mode. Here, users explore the history of the game universe, proceeding step by step through levels from easier to more difficult. All battles in single player mode take place against the game's artificial intelligence. Players can receive prizes in the form of unique cards or power-ups for winning matches, which they can later use in "Player versus Player" mode.

Player vs. Player. This is the main game mode in Calvaria: DoE. This is a playable battlefield where two real players compete against each other using deception and strategic planning. Here you can use various unique cards, power-ups, and collectable NFT tokens to increase your chances of winning. To win the tournament, the player must defeat the enemy army in at least two rounds. Users are rewarded with $eRIA tokens for winning spins.

The competitive nature of this skill-based game makes it very suitable for esports. This is an important consideration to ensure the growth of the game and its community. That's why in the future the game will be filled with seasonal competitions with large prize pools. We also plan to hold various third-party tournaments from partners and sponsors.

$RIA and game resource usage

Tokens are created and issued by Calvaria's development team: DoE. We want Calvaria: DoE to be completely community driven. Therefore, our goal is to create a reasonable balance between supply and demand, and to optimize incentives for all project participants. Various methods are used to achieve this goal.

Players must make an initial deposit to start the game. To play and earn tokens, you must buy at least one deck of cards. A total of 10% of each purchase goes into the staking pool and the rest goes into the prize pool.

A “play for profit” system that active players can use to receive prizes in the form of floating $eRIA tokens for winning tournaments.

Card leveling system. If a player has the same card with the same power, they can combine them to get a new card with a higher level. $eRIA tokens will be used to pay for this process.

In-game shop where you can buy. In this case, with rare exceptions, all purchased resources belong to you directly and you have the right to resell them by any means available. 10% of all purchases at the store go into the staking pool.

The staking system and staking pool allow you to lock $RIA tokens for long-term storage while receiving daily rewards.

In addition to the betting system that will give each user a large $RIA income and the ability to manage their projects, there is also a proprietary NFT card. Each card gives its owner a percentage of all income streams generated throughout the Calvaria: DoE project.

Decentralized autonomous organizations provide a voting system and a way to make governance decisions, turning active stakeholders into full co-owners of the game. As users lock more tokens on the staking platform, their votes are given more weight.

Fees are charged on exchange transactions. 3% of all transactions on the decentralized exchange are added to the staking pool.

NFT tokens are issued as collectibles, traded on major NFT platforms, and give owners a strategic advantage in tournaments.

KALVA UNIVERSE

The afterlife, born from the psychically charged ichor, is formed from the two guardians of Santa Muerte and Quetzacoatl. With the essence of each guardian, the two form their own domains and are now separate according to their needs and purposes. The Void, which had grown conscious over thousands of years, siphoned off their domain to create its own in its own stretched body.

$RIA and $eRIA tokens

The $RIA and $eRIA tokens are ERC-20 tokens which are the main currency of Calvaria: DoE. The $RIA token is a project ecosystem token, which serves to maintain the economic stability of the system. While $eRIA, like in-game currency in classic games, will be credited to players during the game. Both tokens are suitable for trading on exchanges and will also be truly owned by project users. Neither we, as game developers, nor anyone else will be able to take tokens from users without their knowledge and consent. This is the main feature of the "Play to Earn" system. By spending time playing Calvaria: DoE, players will be able to earn really valuable and rare currency, the value of which will grow over time by attracting more and more users to the game.

First of all, we understand that there is no compromise when it comes to quality. A gym with very satisfying mechanics, interactivity, and complexity that allows for a competitive aspect — that's what we consider a basic requirement. The project cannot only rely on the "Play to Earn" system. Instead, it should be a pleasant addition to the game, an experience that this system will only enhance.

Considering the above, we decided to make a card game because of the popularity of the game and its moderate learning curve for new players. In addition, to increase interest and engagement, we have created a unique setting and companion narrative about life after death, which is a frontier rarely explored by games. If we prioritize player enjoyment and make the "Play to Earn" mechanic a secondary motivation, then the project's longevity will be guaranteed by an ever-growing audience.
